Looks good but what I am missing is a direct

HLSW link to connect to the server.

That will be added for each game...most likely during the beta testing stages.

Note: If anyone wants to help out in this please do so by posting what your game requires for people to connect from a web site. I already know the HL, HL2, CS, CS:S and UT games but not sure of the others.

q3a engine.. (Quake 3) , games such as Enemy Territory or Medal of Honor: AA use it. q3a protocol

I think you can also use the gamespy protocol which nearly works with any game.

Looks similar to the phpnuke gameserver module which I ported to use with my vB 2.x, so of course I like :) Good job dude.

Edit:
See you are using my UO server for testing and it says (mods used-yes). Wondering what might make it show up that way as we are currently running a stock install.

Edit:2 just restarted the server and now it says mods used-no but its on arnham instead of one of the recently released official map pack maps. Could it be seeing these maps as a mod?

you mean the one from terragate.net ? There are both , phpnuke and non phpnuke versions.

This is bits and pieces of many query scripts out there (approx. 12) plus alot of my own enhancements since neither of them alone doesn't fit all the requirements. Also most of them were just plain bad coding in that they didn't follow standard coding formats and at the least very sloppy. Anything derived from these scripts was purely for informational purposes and recompiled to fit vBWar's needs and vbulletins standards (which I base all my scripts on).

When I looked at the one from terragate I elected to follow the same layout as it looked to be the best one, well organized, informational and yet simple, the others are just lame IMO.

Yep,but I am not a coder (cant write my own php stuff to save my life) so I never really got into the gsquery project, besides last time I looked it was still new and rough, course that was a while back. I chose rather to make the nuke module work with my vBP site as vBP 2.x is very similar to nuke. Had to sift through the code and make it function like a vBPortals module, but for a non coder it was easier to do that.

I assumed you had your own code goin on DW, but couldnt help but think it looked familiar on the outside. ;) I agree, it has a good basic layout and function.

Most (95%) of the coding is mine....the rest is various other scripts compiled together and integrated.

I shared this with my clan and they really liked it. There was one request however. It was asked if you could make the url displayed a hyperlink instead of regular text. Guess the thought was that it would make it seem more complete rather than just spewing out the raw server info.

Can you elaborate? Do you mean instead of the server IP have it a hyperlink that starts the game?

No, I mean for games that display a website in the server params have it clickable.
