Sup DW & Natch
Since the portal version is close at hand, me and my clan brothers are working on our new site, but since our current host doesn´t support Vbwar we need to find a new one, and on that note I´m curoius to know what the full requirements are for Vbwar portal edition. (Allthough I´ll prolly buy the pro first and upgrade when portal comes out ;) )
As I recall, Zend optimizer is required, aswell as off course php and mysql...
But what versions of PHP, MySQL, Zend & Vbulletin is required, and are there other considerations to take? (ekstra mysql db´s etc etc etc)
Cheers for the awesome work guys!

Yeah, I just notice that zend was gone from the requirements. What happened? I remember that being a big part of vbwar during dev.

The version I have of Zend is too old for use and to renew it would cost me $1,900.00 USD so if I were to renew the package I would have to transfer the costs to the purchasers of vbwar and I don't think you would want that correct?

Agreed...hence the support only for Ioncube as it contains it's own loaders and is as quick if not faster than the Zend product.

If your host supports Zend then you can use Ioncube...I will provide a 14 day trial if you want
u're sure ??
i test another time & i tell U

Tell your host that this will bring you more issues as alot of scripts and such are already at or going to Zend or Ioncube...
they don't want to change anything.....i don't want to take a dedicated server (so much money) so ... i can't use vbwar...... i'm very unlucky

First off there is no security risk with whats needed to support Zend or Ioncube and if your host doesn't want to do it then I say find another host. I also checked their site -> INFOMANIAK.CH and see they are behind in MySQL and PHP versions so there is another reason to leave them as the version of PHP they are running has security holes.
What size is your site regarding diskspace and bandwidth? I run a hosting company as well and can set you up. What do you pay for this per month (in USD please)?
i know there is no risk, but they want to send dedicated server..
- 12 $ per month for 1.5Go disk space, 15 sql db, french adminpanel
i try something on other host & i tell u.
don't work to...
i'll continue to use vwar with 2 db & 2 user login....
