What is the best version to get for vBwar with the coming vb 3.5 and what now? What should I do? Should I buy vbwar now? and if so, what version of vbwar? I want the best one. And can my vwar oppenents and match history be imported somehow?
Thanks!

We will have a beta of vBWar 3.5 out soon. Any version you buy can be upgraded to another product for the cost difference.

So, I suppose its best to wait for the 3.5 version, what will that be called?

Anthony and I were discussing several options last night and have come to an agreement. What we are going to do is make vBWar 3.5.0 a module based system. What this does is provide a core application with selectable options (modules) that you can purchase, this will allow you to get only what you need without all the bloat.
The core coding of vBWar will include alot of new functionality over the vBWar 3.0.x version (look at the vBug Tracker (http://www.vbwar.com/forums/vbugs.php?s=&do=list&vbug_projectid=3) and view the "Feature Requests"). This also eliminates all the different products i.e. Pro, Portal & Tournament to avoid any confusion.
These modules will provide everything everyone needs to fit into their site whether it be a Portal, Tournament or other.
Lastly, this prevents the upgrading to different products and makes for a more expandable system.

Why not make it simple and give one version with one price. I am interestred, but I would not like to make multiple purchases.

Also, as with any other purchase of VBulletin hacks, will you give free upgrades for one year (if purchased now)?

When you purchase you get a free years worth of upgrades and after that each additional year will be $10.

I have had many private requests from Gaming sites requesting additional features/additions that I feel would benefit the whole community and vBWar. With that being said the best approach and to speed up development time would be to make a core product with a module based system.
