I've searched through the forums for this and can't seem to find a conclusive answer. Perhaps a developer or sales associate can help answer this:

I am running vB 3.0.7 (plan to upgrade to 3.08), and I have vbadvanced CMPS 1.01 installed.

Will vbWar work in this environment and what version do I need?

I used to run an installation of vwar 1.4.0 so I am somewhat familiar with the concept of this product - unless of course vBwar is an entirely different animal. I'm just fuzzy on the details when it comes to the interoperability with vb and vbadvanced.

Thanks in advance.

Well if the "presales support" quality of service is any indicator for how well the product is supported after the purchase has been made, then I can be glad I just saved myself $30 worth of headaches.

Sorry for the delay. vBWar will work fine in your environment and has no affect on vbadvanced. vBWar is it's own product and has alot of added functionality over vwar with alot of new changes to the soon to be released vBWar 3.5.0 for vbulletin 3.5.0.

Thanks for replying.

If I buy vBWar now, will I be able to upgrade to 3.5.0 for free when it comes out? Do you provide a year of purchase protection, like vBulletin does - where all upgrades and patches are free within the first year?

I also had 1 more question:

reading the product description, I didn't notice any mention of a clan calendar function. A feature that can schedule clan events, such as determine training dates and times, as well as manage matches.

I remember VWAR had such a thing - but it was limited in its abilities. One couldn't schedule recurring trainings etc (i.e. every tuesday at 7:00 PM). You had to enter each date separately.

Is this a feature that vbwar also supports?
